Bob is such a lovely lad but he is not for the faint hearted. He needs a very calm home in a quiet area with no other pets or children/children visiting. A one person household would suit but we can consider a two person household if the right adopter.
Bob has many issues that aren’t getting any better here at the trust. He’s a highly strung boy with bags and bags of energy. He’s not a fan of other dogs and if given too much praise can get very silly he struggles with keeping calm but it is something we have been working on. We need somebody with lots of experience with border collies and is willing to put alot of work into him. His behaviour will not change overnight but what you put into him you will certainly be rewarded! He has the potential to build up a bond with an owner and be very loyal but it will take hard work to get there. We are not describing him to put anybody off we just need to make sure who ever adopts him knows what they are taking on. Despite his challenging personality he is such a loving sweet boy that just wants to please and have a special bond with somebody which he definitely deserves.
